James F. Taylor, III graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude with high honors. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Georgia State University College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the Superior and State Courts of Georgia, Supreme Court of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, USDC for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jim represents insurers in first-party claims and litigation, including commercial and residential property losses, marine and inland marine, fraud, in addition to the handling of general liability claims and representation of insurers and their insureds in cases of negligence, premises liability and other torts. Jim is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and St. Thomas More Society, in addition to the State Bar of Georgia, where he served as prior chairman of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section.
